Description
the Aviation Center
The Aviation Center is an FAA approved school for training aircraft mechanics, operating under Federal Aviation Regulation Part 147 since 1980.

Adult and high school students may attend full-time classes daily, or part-time classes evenings and Saturdays. Completion of all programs will take approximately five school semesters for a student attending full time.

Students completing the program are eligible to take FAA examinations to receive an Aircraft Maintenance Technician license.

The Aviation Center's current facility was built in 1978.  It includes spacious office and classrooms.  Large workshops adjoin a central hangar.

Industry has high praise for graduates of the Aviation Center. One of the nation's largest airlines says the Aviation Center is among the top five schools in the country.
